Tropical Paradise

The blue sky, the palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze, the tropical flowers blooming everywhere, and the sun and the sand all take me back to Hawaii. My memories are fond ones from this winter vacation in January, 2006.
I captured intriguing photographs of tall palm trees swaying in the wind with nothing but brilliant blue sky in the background. They truly suggest paradise. I captured pictures of yellow and red hibiscus with the morning dew still on the petals. These beautiful flowers are a popular subject for local artists to paint. Of course, one cannot go to Hawaii and not capture the sun setting on the Atlantic Ocean.
It wasn't just nature's beauty that caught my eye on this vacation. I was able to get a great shot of multicoloured surfboards lined up in a row standing tall in the afternoon sun with the blue sky as their backdrop. It was a neat picture from a neat angle.
Hawaii is a piece of paradise and one cannot help but try to take some of it home in pictures!
