Seasonal Photography: Spring
By: Author: J Bakken
Each season holds its own beauty. Whether it is spring, summer, fall, or
winter, each season is unique and every single season is different.
Capturing the outdoor beauty and natural wonder of each season is both fun
and easy.
There is something about spring that is inviting and awakening to the human
spirit. The newness and promise of this season brings hope. Capturing
photographs of the fresh buds on a tree, or a new baby animal born on the
farm are priceless treasures.
Springtime photography can include the breaking up of a river or lake, a
litter of baby kittens, a new spring waterfall from high atop a mountain,
brightly coloured tulips, and much more.
Springtime photographs can also feature people and activities such as
planting a garden or a field on the prairies, the first hike in the
mountains with snow still on the trail, or the first ball game of the
season.
Springtime photographs of pussywillows, cattails, baby bunnies, a nest of
young birds, morning fog, and numerous other subjects can all be award
winning photographs. They can be used for calendars, cards, brochures, and
much more, or simply for the enjoyment of the photographer.
Springtime photography is an opportunity to capture digital and print images
of nature as it begins its new cycle of growth, to be outdoors in the fresh
air, and to enjoy the promise of the seasons to come.
Springtime is synonymous with everything new and sometimes all we need is to
look at the world, whether it is a budding tree or a budding flower, with
new eyes and we see everything as if it were the first time and we feel a
sense of peace and promise.
