Seasonal Photography: Autumn

Each season holds its own beauty. Whether it is spring, summer, fall, or winter, each season is unique and every single season is different. Capturing the outdoor beauty and natural wonder of each season is both fun and easy.
There is something about autumn that is calming to the human spirit. The colours and change of temperatures of this season bring us slowly into another mood and pace. Capturing photographs of the red and yellow leaves on a tree or bales of hay in the field are priceless treasures.
Autumn photography can include the brilliant coloured fall foliage, horns of plenty and pumpkins, harvest scenery, and much more.
Fall photographs can also feature people and activities such as bringing in the garden vegetables, or a day out combining in the field on the prairies, the first day of school for a youngster about to ride the big yellow bus for the first time, and numerous other activities.
Autumn scenery photographs of geese flying south for the winter, freshly fallen leaves raked in a pile, a bright red barn set against a backdrop of orange and gold leaves, and many other subjects can all be award winning photographs. They can be used for calendars, cards, brochures, and much more, or simply for the enjoyment of the photographer.
Autumn photography is an opportunity to capture digital and print images of nature as it begins its season of reaping, to be outdoors in the crisp fall air, and to enjoy the promise of the seasons to come.
Autumn is synonymous with going back to school and getting back into a routine and sometimes all we need is to look at the world, whether it is a basket full of vegetables or an eager child ready to try out for a new team, with new eyes and we see everything as if it were the first time and we feel a sense of peace and promise.
