Maid of the Mist

On a trip to Niagara Falls in May, 2005, I snapped away with my camera and came away with some fabulous shots of the Maid of the Mist, the famous tourist vessel. I was able to capture a perfect combination of the boat in the water, the magnificent falls, and a rainbow! The falls are so powerful, it is easy to get the mist on your camera when taking photographs of them.
Niagara Falls is a spectacular sight and has many tourist activities for honeymooning couples, families of all ages, and school groups. Everyone brings out their camera and snaps away capturing the powerful falls from every angle possible, rides on the Maid of the Mist in raincoats, and loved ones smiling away in the foreground.
I have visited Niagara Falls twice now; once when I was just 16 with my mom and sister, and the second visit when I was 34 with a school group. I would return again in a heartbeat to share the experience with other loved ones. I would be sure to bring my camera and capture more beautiful memories, sights, and, of course, smiles.
